How can help you with the new Lead Intake process with Salesmate

If you use Salesmate as a CRM tool for your business, Chat Agents can help you take care of some of the routine tasks like filling out forms to capture new leads. Salesmate allows you to create forms that can be used to add new leads.

Chat Agents can fill out these forms for qualifying leads that have come in on chat by asking them questions, so you do not have to manually add those leads to your CRM.

How to get started with Salesmate &

The steps below will show you how to create your lead intake form and share its link with us.

If you do not already have a Salesmate account, sign up for a free trial at, or sign in if you already have a Salesmate account.

Once you have completed the signup and logged in, you’ll be guided through a series of steps and instructions to complete the CRM setup.

How to create new lead intake forms in Salesmate.

To create a new lead intake form, go to your Dashboard and click More in the left pane, then click Forms >Create your First Form

There are 3 sections in Form Builder:

FORM: This is where you build the form by creating, editing and adding new form fields. Note that all the predefined fields here will directly collect and deploy your lead’s data in Salesmate CRM.

Give your form a name, add/edit the fields by clicking on them or create a new field if needed

This is the place where you can specify the actions after the form is submitted. You can also specify what to do with a duplicate record  

This is where you can customize the form and page background, as well as the color of the form border.

Click on Publish on the right side

Once the form is published, you will see the form links

Copy the link of your intake form.

You can also find the links for all your forms under Dashboard Menu > More > Forms to send us the link.

How to send your lead intake form link to

Please share your lead intake form link by logging into the integration page of your Chat Agents account.

To do this, go to in your Chat Agents dashboard and go to “Integrations” which should open

Look for Salesmate Intake and check the “Activate” box.

Then click on the “Help Icon” next to activate and a form should open.
Paste the links you copied from the Salesmate form.

Also include any messages or special instructions you want to send to our chat agents into this form.

Once you have done this, our support team will set it up, usually within 24 hours. Once it’s set up, our chat agents can now start filling out the intake form on behalf of your clients by asking for the details.
