Clio Manage- what is it?
Clio is a cloud-based law firm management solution suitable for small to large law firms. The platform enables law firms and other legal industry businesses to track important deadlines, manage client cases and documents, bill and receive payments.
The Clio dashboard displays target billable hours and tracks performance based on those measures. Clio Payments allows attorneys to receive payments directly into a client trust or operating account.
The billing feature allows users to create custom billing schedules, manage fee structures, record time automatically or manually, send invoices via email, and allow clients to access information via email or the secure client portal. Document management features include document automation, custom field creation, electronic signature capture and more.
How does Clio Manage works with Chat Agents
Upon completion of a chat on your site, a new chat lead is added by our Chat Agents with all contact information, a brief chat summary, and the chat transcript.
With this Clio Manage – Chat Agents integration, these lead details are automatically added as a new contact ( Person ) in your Clio account and notes are created for the summary and chat transcript.
When a chat visitor returns to your site and provides more information, a new chat summary is added along with the new chat transcript from Chat Agents. These lead details are also automatically updated as notes in your Clio account for that lead.
NOTE : Chat Agents also integrates natively with Clio Grow for chat leads, so you can automatically send information between Chat Agents and Clio Grow – no code required.

How to integrate Clio Manage with Chat Agents
To integrate Clio with Chat Agents, first, log into your Clio Manage account at https://account.clio.com
If you do not already have a Clio account, you can create one at https://www.clio.com/signup/
While logged into your Clio account, log in to the integration page of your Chat Agents account.
To do this, go to https://my.chatagents.com/ in your Chat Agents dashboard and go to “Integrations” which should open https://my.chatagents.com/integrations.
Search for Clio and enable the “Edit” button on the right hand side.
You will then see the Chat Agents – Clio Integration page.
Click on “Connect”, which will open a popup modal at clio.com
Grant access to Chat Agents app, by clicking ¨ALLOW ACCESS¨.
Then select the users you want to manage your chat leads and click on “SUBMIT”.
That’s it. If everything is correct and no error message is displayed, your Chat Agents and Clio accounts are now integrated.
Whenever our chat agents add new chat leads in our system, you will see it in our CRM and receive a notification via text, email and through our apps.
With this integration, you will also see the same lead details with associated notes and chat transcripts automatically and instantly added to your Clio account.
This saves you from manually re-entering all the chat lead details into your Clio account.
Lead details are added in your Chat Agents CRM.
Chat transcripts are also added in your Chat Agents CRM.
The same lead is also visible in your Clio account,
Along with the chat summary and chat transcript, both of which are added as notes to the lead in your Clio account.
